English Class News
Expository writing: Have you ever tried to put together a new toy or a gas grill and found that the directions were confusing, out of order, and even missing important steps? With our next writing unit, we'll study how to write clear and orderly directions and explanations.
Be thinking of a skill you can explain to us --a recipe, a craft, a job, a trick--for our "How-to" presentations.
I am the 8th grade English and Reading teacher and have taught at North Greene for 18 years.
My husband teaches at the high School, and we have been married for 43 years! (we both graduated from North Greene)
We are proud of our four sons, Brian who is a superintendent, Matt who is a principal, Tony who is a businessman and coach at N.G.M.S. and N.G.H.S., and Patrick who is a doctor.
We keep busy with our work and our family (we have 15 grandchildren!) We also have a golden retriever dog named Annie.
